Skylights Restaurant features a menu inspired by the delights of Mediterranean cuisine fused with gourmet ingredients. Specialities include wagyu beef, Norwegian salmon, Iberian ham, lobster, foie gras, cod, lamb, and much more!
A restaurant completely different from the others you can find at the Platinum Yucatan Princess. Its eclectic décor will whisk you back to bygone times. Antique objects, such as photo and video cameras, a bicycle from 1865, and wood and metal features are mixed with modern furniture to provide a unique and original style. It also boasts a cellar with a great selection of wines and a black marble bar with a host of delicious cocktails. All this framed by the great view of La Plaza and the best sunsets over the Caribbean Sea.
As if that weren’t enough, Skylights Restaurant hosts two monthly tasting dinners featuring renowned chefs specialising in particular cuisines. The guest chefs work alongside our Executive Chef to create truly special menus designed to delight our guests. Some of the experiences have included: the Pre-Hispanic Dinner featuring wild boar, venison and insects; the Aphrodisiac Dinner, featuring a variety of ingredients known for their aphrodisiac effects, such as the Damiana plant; and the Peruvian Dinner, showcasing the best of that country’s cuisine, such as seafood and desserts made with ancient ingredients. All this is paired with a selection of wines, craft beers and spirits carefully chosen by our sommelier. A top-class dining experience!
